Enter the Loft in Amsterdam

When you enter the loft, you come into a space where people actually 'live'. Everywhere you look there are people enjoying the wonderful vibe that hangs here: drinking a cup of coffee made with love or hanging on the couch, enjoying the great books that you can look into. The exotic plants let you think that you're back in time when people had their own orangery.

The beautiful art wall photos make the space powerful and contemporary.

Everything you see in this lofty space, located in a beautiful canelhouse in the center of Amsterdam, can be purchased  from sofas, tables, chairs, books, including the pants.

The styling is a mix of vintage furniture and modern design with a nod to the days when the world was still full of explorers, the time of Alexandrine Tinne, a woman I admire.

Until last Sunday you could lose yourself in this 'bygone era'. Enter the Loft is only open for a few weeks for visitors (August 22 to September 6 2015), keeping the magic alive.
Hopefully there will be a sequel soon. Sure I'll look.
